Easho was created to take the stress out of bulk buying: it allows consumers to have access to bulk discounts typically reserved for businesses and those with membership cards at wholesale clubs. They operate business solely online through their ecommerce website: selling household items ranging from a 4-pack of soap to a pack of a dozen air fresheners. After a successful first quarter of the year, the company was seeking an agency with creative flair that could take it to the next level.

Brief

Following our inclusion in the top 100 startups in the StartUps.co.uk’s annual Startup100 listing, we were approached by the firm to audit its current advertising accounts being managed by another agency. After our team of Paid Social and Paid Search strategists had provided feedback and a list of opportunities which could be utilised by the company, we were enlisted as its dedicated digital marketing partner.

Approach

We needed to convince those seeing the ads that buying in bulk (an act which is typically viewed as a hassle) was a good idea on items traditionally bought from high street shops or supermarkets. This was communicated prominently throughout the ‘Bulk Made Better’ campaign we had devised. The campaign focused on demonstrating how it was convenient and prudent to stock up on every household item all at once to show that bulk buying could be fun and mainstream.

As the nature of Easho’s brand is bright, fun, and dynamic, in January 2019 we launched the next instalment of the campaign. Named ‘#StockedUpFeeling’, the campaign conveyed and highlighted the feeling of satisfaction that comes with having stocked up and full cupboards at home.

Our creative Paid Social campaign was supported by Paid Search: utilising a mix
of search and shopping ads to draw high-intent audiences on to the website. This was in addition to a search campaign which focused on products being promoted by popular cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch.

Results

Easho is growing rapidly; with the number of users and transactions increasing daily, due in part to our customer acquisition campaigns. In addition, the suggestions we made for the website have assisted with conversion rate, which has increased by 22%, and achieved a 23% decrease in bounce rate.
