Time To Celebrate as Distract Revels in Raft of Award Nominations

We’re no strangers to awards at Distract, but we’re celebrating this December as we’ve managed to pick up three nominations along with several of our clients being nominated for recognition at the CityX Lincolnshire Innovation and Technology Awards.

The night of December 16th, we will be waiting to hear whether we’ve picked up one of the following awards:

Entrepreneur of the Year: Peter Watson
Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Bradley McKenny
Innovative Campaign of the Year: Distract X HUN Wines

We’re also excited to hear that the following clients are also being recognised on the night:

Startup of the Year: Certified Health
Business of the Year: Featured Ltd
Innovation in Health and Wellbeing: St Barnabas Hospice
Innovative Campaign of the Year: St Barnabas Hospice
Not Just Profit Business of the Year: St Barnabas Hospice

Peter Watson, MD at Distract, said: “It’s amazing to see how many awards we’ve managed to be nominated for this year. Not just for Distract as an agency, but for our clients too. Certified Health is an exciting pharmaceutical venture set up to meet medical needs. Having Featured being recognised as a major player is excellent news too.

Distract’s nomination for campaign of the year with HUN Wines marks a huge campaign which saw a position as ‘wine taster’ being offered by the London-based canned wine producer. A digital PR campaign meant the story was shared across the likes of national newspapers, lifestyle magazines and niche press, gaining links and a massive increase in the company’s marketing database.

Into its seventh year, the awards are sponsored by Streets Heaver, Shakespeare Martineau, Gusto Group, University of Lincoln, BJSS, Recap, Monarch Enterprises and Streets Chartered Accountants.
