Finding images for your content marketing

During your final checks over your completed, ready to publish blog post theres one last thing that you should add that will give it an added shine. No blog post is fully complete without accompanying images that illustrate your written article.

The trouble with this is time. In your busy life organising everything, you may struggle to find the time to go out and take your original photos. You may find the time to take these photos but at this point all your blogs were written and meant to be posted days ago. So what is the solution?

It is no secret that any Google images search will generate a seemingly endless collection of photos for you to choose from. One of the most important things you need to remember when searching in Google is to search copyright free images.

If you use an image that is protected under copyright law, you will quickly land yourself in a lot of trouble. To avoid this, all you need to do is do an ordinary Google search, click on the search tools and click the usage rights option that will appear in a drop-down menu. At this point, you will see a variety of copyright options, labeled for reuse with modificationis one of the best for bloggers as it lets you adapt it to fit your needs.

Pixabay and Unsplash are other services that you can use to look for pictures. Both are free services that anyone can use, easily accessible, and you dont need to create a user account or register in any way to use them.

For a wide variety of high-quality photos, you may want to consider using Flickr. Flickr is a photo management and sharing site where users can filter photos according to different licenses. To find images that are safe to use simply go to the top right corner of the page and select the any licenselabel, there will then be a drop down where you will be able to select the best license for you.

A third option of sourcing photos is Wikipedia Commons. This database shares over 27 million freely usable images and videos that anyone is entitled to use. The only thing to be careful about when using Wikipedia Commons is that you attribute media correctly. All images are paired with the correct links to where you should attribute the photo.
